Young Americans is the ninth studio album by English musician David Bowie. It was released on 7 March 1975.

Development[]

While on tour for Diamond Dogs, he was heavily interested and inspired by Philadelphia soul, in which he recorded a fully Soul album, in which he describes as 'plastic soul', but many people describe it as 'blue-eyed soul.
